The International Judo Federation Congress has elected two new members to the IJF Executive Committee: Juan Carlos Barcos of Spain and Timur Kemell of Kazakhstan.
Juan Carlos Barcos brings extensive experience in judo administration and refereeing. His appointment also sees him take on the role of IJF Head Referee Director, a position in which his expertise and long-standing commitment to the sport will serve the continued development of refereeing worldwide.

He is joined by Timur Kemell, a Kazakh businessman who has been close to the judo family for many years. His election reflects both his personal attachment to the sport and his willingness to contribute to the future of the International Judo Federation.
