Aside from the judo competition, IJF Media Director Nicolas Messner will also be participating in the school sport forum: The Springboard for a Healthy Lifestyle conference on 15th September. The forum will be focusing on the topic ‘sport values in every classroom,’ providing the opportunity to talk about the IJF and members of the judo network, presenting their good practices and vision related to education and sport for the youth.
The partnership between the ISF and IJF began in April 2017 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, at the IJF Presidential Office in Budapest, Hungary, between the ISF President, Mr Laurent Petrynka and IJF President, Mr Marius Vizer.
President Petrynka reiterated the importance of this partnership, “This step for ISF, creating this u15 multi-sport event for the first time in our history, is made possible by the support of partners such as the IJF, who joined us on this journey for youth sport, to enhance the opportunities we can provide.”
The ISF is delighted to continue to work closely with the IJF, striving to help develop school sport and judo in schools, all around the world.
