As the congress of the International Judo Federation, which will soon take place in Qatar as a prelude to the World Judo Championships - Doha 2023, is looming, it was the turn of the Asian Judo Union to hold important elections.
It was therefore in Kuwait that the general assembly of the organisation took place, in the presence of the IJF President, Mr Marius Vizer. Mr Obaid Al Anzi (KUW) was re-elected JUA President for a new term, thus remaining Vice President of the IJF, while Mr Mukesh Kumar (IND) retains his seat as General Secretary of the JUA and Ms Amal H Abu Shallak retains that of General Treasurer.
