Larisa Kiss, Head of International Relations for the IJF, was an important observer of the test event, "Having the test event these last few days was important as it gave us the possibility to be all together for the first time in the venue of the Games. All NTOs and ITOs could work together and that is really good. It was a needed opportunity to identify and address issues if necessary but I must say that everything was smooth.
Of course we couldn't cover all areas and that was not the purpose. We will keep working together in the months to come to be sure that we have a flawless Olympic Games. We do hope that in the future, we can have even more tests like this. It is important for the event and for the co-operation.
I am very happy that the IOC was represented with Achilleas Tsogas, the judo manager of the IOC sport department. OBS (Olympic Broadcasting Services) was also here, which is very important. Today we were honoured to the have a visit from Etienne Thobois, the Director General of the Paris 2024 organising committee.
I can say that Paris 2024 will be successful and it will be successful together."
