And what a year it has been! The 2025 season was rich in unforgettable moments, dramatic turnarounds and inspiring achievements. From breathtaking ippon judo to groundbreaking educational initiatives, judo continued to prove its power to unite, educate and transform lives across the world.
The IJF Judo Awards recognise excellence in all its forms. While elite judoka take centre stage, equal importance is given to projects that embody the moral code of judo and spread its values far beyond competition.
