The last day of the Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the individual categories, ended in style for the last four weight categories. Four days ago we started with the ultra-lightweights, so today it was the turn of the women -70kg and +70kg and the men -90kg and +90kg to compete for the title of world champion.

The French women confirm their dominance at heavyweight by qualifying their two athletes for the final, thus offering themselves a third world title here. We note the good health of Uzbek judo, which presented two finalists, one at -90kg and one at -70kg, a perfect balance between women and men. Hungary, Brazil and Canada also had their finalists.

As the team competition looms on the horizon, always representing a highlight of the judo experience, we can say without hesitation that the level of judo offered today and the previous days, was an excellent vintage. There was commitment, the will to do well, a lot of mutual respect and style. We love this judo.

At the end of the individual competition, France moved back into first position on the medal ranking with 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. Second is Georgia with 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronzes, while Japan finishes third with 2 gold and 2 bronzes. In Total 25 countries won at least one medal in Sarajevo and 35 reached the final block.
