No-one will have missed it, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are fast approaching. While the first delegations are already arriving in the City of Lights and the Olympic flame also made its entrance into Paris on the occasion of Bastille Day on 14th July, final preparations are well underway so that the competitions can begin at the announced time on 27th July.

This applies to all sports and of course to judo. The judo competition will therefore begin at the Arena Champ-de-Mars the day after the opening ceremony which promises to be grandiose, to be staged on the Seine. While waiting for the first contests, the stadium is undergoing its final transformations in order to offer the spectacle that the judo planet has been waiting for, for years.

Between 27th July and 3rd August, judo will be present in the first week, for eight days of competition in a row: 7 individual days and one day of mixed team competition. A total of 15 Olympic titles (14+1) will be awarded and will forever change international sporting history.
