On that day and many more to come, we are happy to bring to life the journey of our athletes to highlight the outstanding resilience and strength they have shown throughout this difficult time.
Last year, we were happy to launch our #StrongerTogether campaign as the theme of the 2020 World Judo Day. We were even more happy to see that it also became the motto of the Olympic family and this #StrongerTogether campaign will continue to build excitement and anticipation throughout the month-long countdown to Tokyo 2020.
On this special Olympic Day the International Olympic Committee invites the world to ‘Get Stronger for the Games.’ This will provide inspiration to help people get physically and mentally stronger.
The activities proposed by the IOC range from live chats with athletes and tips on mindfulness and wellbeing, to live work-outs and the exciting final of the first Olympic Virtual Series, broadcast live throughout the day. Stakeholder activities taking place around the world such as physical and digital events will also be amplified via the @Olympics social and digital channels.
