For Azizjon Kamilov, President of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation, 2025 is special, "This year holds special significance for Uzbekistan. The gold medal won by Diyora Keldiyorova and the bronze medals earned by Muzaffarbek Turoboyev and Alisher Yusupov at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games have brought immense pride to our nation. These accomplishments confirm that Uzbekistan is on its path to becoming a leading country in the world of judo.
The foundation of these successes lies in unwavering support for the development of sport by His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
