"The third day of competition started very dynamic and stayed dynamic all morning until the end of the preliminaries with a large number of big throws, spectacular throws and we saw that some skillfull athletes taking part in some senior competitions are ready to challenge their older colleagues in national federations not only for Los Angeles 2028 but alreaddy for Paris in 2024. Taking in consideration than in the first two days around ten countries get medals per day shows how tight and hard the competition is. We can not say anymore that there is one country dominating the others in the junior category. We are very happy that the medals are spread all arounf the world. If we go more technically, we saw an amazing uchi-mata in the –48kg final. Yesterday we saw tachi waza and we are very pleased to see that more and more juniors are familiarised with ground work. We have even seen combinations in ne-waza, even escapes from osae-komi waza and, dont giving up and the referee letting continue the contest to execute another osae-komi. In today's final block we had 13 scores in nine contests. We had transitions from tashi-waza to ne-waza. We even had osaekomi-sankaku. And of course we had seoi-nage, ura-nage and much more. It was an amazing final block and, by the way, eleven countries get a medal, eleven medals out of 12. This is great. All this was spectacular and great news for this level because they are juniors and some already perform as seniors. We believe the organisation of this world championships was essential for the life of federations, life of judoka and everyone who is involved in high level performance. We need to test each other, we need to know where we are, if it is the right path or not. I see that everybody is motivated by the junior worlds because if there is no medal judoka are then motivated to come back and win. If there is a medal they want to continue at a higher level. So this event is an example of motivation for judoka, federations and families. "
