Such a large-scale event for sports medicine was held in Kazakhstan for the first time. The organizer of the conference was the National Olympic Committee with the support of the program "Olympic Solidarity". The conference was timed to coincide with the opening of the ultramodern sports center PROSPORT, and was attended by the President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer, the Vice President of the NOC of Kazakhstan, Daniyar Abulgazin, and the Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yeldos Ramazanov.

World well known speakers, including Rod Whiteley, representative of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Deputy Director of the Department of Rehabilitation for Clinical Projects and Quality of the Aspetara Hospital for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Yorck Olaf Schumacher, Chairman of the Expert Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency for Biological Passports of Athletes, Member of the Expert Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency, Member of the Medical and Scientific Committee of the International Olympic Committee and Professor of Brighton University.
During his visit, President Vizer presented the IJF golden plaque to, Mrs. Galiya Bilyalova, Director of department of sports medicine and anti-doping of the NOC KAZ
