Mr. Nasser Al Tamimi, UAE Judo General Secretary and General Treasurer of the International Judo Federation was recently awarded by the Mohammed Bin Rachid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Awards in Dubai, for his contribution to develop judo and fitness in the United Arab Emirates and for having been a member of the International Judo Federation since 2007.

This important award follows the one received by the IJF last year on the occasion of the 2015 Mohammed Bin Rachid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Awards, as the organization was recognized as the best International Federation in terms of development programs.

Mr. Al Tamimi is very involved locally for the development of sport and judo in particular, as well as he is a key person of the development of judo at the international level. Under the leadership of the President of the UAE Wrestling, Judo & Kick Boxing Federation, H.E. Mohamed Bin Thaloob Al Derai, Mr. Al Tamimi has been very active to insure the success of the Judo Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi, which has been organized for several years, and of the recent Olympic bronze Medal obtained by Sergiu Toma in Rio 2016.

Congratulations to Mr. Nasser Al Tamimi!
