'A Little Something Extra' (Un p'tit truc en plus) is a 2024 French comedy film about a father and son, both criminals, who take refuge in a summer camp for young adults with disabilities, posing as a resident and his educator.

The film achieved the second best start in the history of French cinema and in 20 days it has accumulated more than 3 million admissions in France. In August 2024, the film exceeded 10 million admissions, becoming the 12th highest-grossing French film of all time.

The director of 'A Little Something Extra,’ Artus was present today at the Arena Champ-de-Mars to knock the 'trois coups' that launched the third day of competition at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024.

"It's exceptional to be here and at the same time I think it's completely normal and that should be the norm’ throughout society. A few weeks ago I came to see Teddy (Riner) and I'm very happy to see that para-athletes are welcomed and treated in exactly the same conditions as other athletes. There's no need to make any difference.

I'm happy to have been able to share the 'trois coups' with Angélique today. Well normally it's 9 fast knocks and 3 slower knocks. We only did the three knocks (laughs). Doing it together in front of this audience is an intense and moving moment."

All the little extras that everyone shares during these Paralympic Games make it an exceptional and extraordinary event and yet so normal. This is Artus' message, a message that goes far beyond the world of sport.
