The 2nd edition of the Junior Pan-American Games is just days away with judoka making their final preparations, along with the organising committee, officials and volunteers.

The quadrennial multi-sport event will span 14 days, hosting over 4000 athletes across 29 sports. The judo competition will take place at the Parque Olimpico, inside Paraguay’s Olympic Training Centre.

The 2025 judo event will feature 116 athletes from 21 nations; a significant increase from the 60 athletes and 13 countries present at the inaugural event in Cali, Columbia in 2021.

As usual, Brazil will send a full team of 14 athletes, comprising 3 medallists from the 2024 World Junior Championships in Dushanbe: Clarice Ribeiro, Bianca Reis, and Dandara Camilo.
