While the champion recently announced, during the Zagreb Grand Prix, that she had no intention of hanging up her judogi, she is joining the Croatian National Olympic Committee as vice-president.
Dr Sanda Corak, president of the Croatian Judo Federation, member of the IJF Executive Committee and chair of the IJF Equity Commission, was also elected to the position of NOC vice-president.
This happened during the 74th session of the HOO Assembly, held in Zagreb, during which Zlatko Matesa was unanimously elected as the president of the Croatian Olympic Committee for the mandate period 2024-2028.
Congratulations to all the newly elected personalities and especially to Dr Sanda Corak and Barbara Matic, who will continue to work for the development of judo and sport in general in Croatia and abroad.
