The IBSA Judo World Cup Tbilisi 2025 served as the backdrop for an important milestone in the ongoing development of IBSA Judo. During the event, a co-ordination meeting of the IBSA/IJF Joint Working Commission took place, bringing together key stakeholders responsible for operational decisions and strategic recommendations for the sport’s growth.

The meeting was attended by Rufat Hajili, Executive Director of IBSA; Saeid Mollaei, representing the International Judo Federation (IJF) staff; and Janos Tardos, Chair of the IBSA Judo Committee. Additionally, IBSA board member Tinatin Revazashvili was present.
