Dr Laszlo Toth declared, “We launched a positive revolution in 2022 and we want to continue in this vein. We achieved a lot in 2024. We have big plans for the next few years and we want to continue to improve. In order to strengthen operations and further increase the efficiency of the EJU, the number of Executive Committee members will be increased."
"The EJU is the main engine of the International Judo Federation. While Laszlo Toth used the term revolution; after every change, stability is needed. Especially in these challenging times, we need calm and unity in order to remain successful,” said IJF President Marius Vizer.
Following the President's election the new executive board members were also announced. For the first time in EJU history, the Executive Committee welcomes two female vice presidents: Catarina Rodrigues for sport and Kristiina Pekkola for education.

Dr Laszlo Toth added, "Thank you for your support over the last 900 days. I would like us to continue working hard together as a family. I think we can celebrate the close co-operation with the IJF; it is my goal that we are a part of the IJF, we follow their direction and ideals. My thanks go IJF President Mr Marius Vizer. We have strengthened our team, including more nations; Germany, France, Georgia, Italy and Spain, and we can be proud of the Olympic medallists and experts included in the team."
